Thanks to Fandango, we scored tickets to the 1pm showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in 3D/IMAX to boot.

I have… trepidations after the incessant hype, ads for cars and sundries having zilch to do with ST, yet the promo gets lodged in the final credits and I’m left with an uneasy feeling that disappointment looms, that the long wait won’t be worth it.
I have the popcorn bucket washed and dried, ready for the filling of something I know is bad for us but dammit, a Star Wars movie with a healthy snack? Nope, nuh-unh, ain’t happening. And yes to some of that fake butter, thankyouverymuch.
I’ll have to make sure my daughter’s broken shoulder is strapped in securely, but fortunately the theater is fairly new and the seats are comfortable.
We’ll need to get there early to find good seats.
Just a few more hours.

About Nya Rawlyns
Nya Rawlyns doesn’t write typical romance. She writes emotion as a contact sport, rough and often raw. It need not be pleasant, heart-warming or forever after. What she seeks is what lies beneath—a dance of extremes, the intersect of need and desire, and the compromises we make when pain and pleasure become indistinguishable. ***** She has lived in the country and on a sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay, earned more than 1000 miles in competitive trail and endurance racing, taught Political Science to unwilling freshmen, and found an avocation in materials science. ***** When she isn’t tending to her garden or the horses, the cats, or three pervert parakeets, she can be found day dreaming and listening to the voices in her head.
