Continuing with the GGR-PromoGroup Book Blog Tour for Jerking Iron (A Bad Boyfriends Novel), the comments I’ve received on the newest edition in the series, book #3, is that the reviewers are surprised and quite pleased that the books are not formulaic. They don’t follow a scripted pattern—each one offers up a different side to the characters and pairings—and the overall tone of each book is unique, though all inhabit the same universe.

In Jerking Iron, the stakes get raised to atmospheric levels, requiring the kind of assistance only two undercover major crimes/vice cops can provide…

I love how this series is so diverse. In my opinion, book one is emotional, book two is funny and this book (three) is action. All three are stories of couples coming together, but their personal stories and the circumstances surrounding them are totally different.

There is plenty of angst, maneuvering and activity to keep the reader’s attention. And all along this relationship is progressing as well as the friendships between all the characters of the series.

I like this book and really like the series overall. I definitely recommend it.

Overall this book was nicely paced, there are a lot of things going on and it’s very engaging, and while I didn’t understand why some things had to happen, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. I recommend this to everyone who enjoys an action packed book topped with hot cops, the mob, skin trade, deceit and the cherry on top of this cake amazing book, finding love in the least expected places.
