This is definitely turning into one of those must read series… her male characters exude testosterone. This was my first full length MM story and I was pleasantly surprised. I found this story had a great plot and I was easily entertained. There was plenty of romance and plenty of sex and like all good romantic stories the sex scenes did not overpower the basic story line. I think that is so very important. I read a story to be told a STORY not to read page after page of sex. I thought the characters were well rounded out and the secondary characters truly well defined.~~Monica, Bits of Books

What Nya Rawlyns did was to write an entertaining and very different story about man on man action. She did a lot of insinuations but never really went to the nitty gritty details so what could be seen as a full blown erotic porn book – is definitely not! It is very entertaining, a bit fairytale-like and definitely fiction. Did I enjoy it? Most definitely. Especially when Sean and Mike started thinking different from what they were actually saying. PUMPING IRON is insta-love; bad-boy style. I loved the sexual chemistry between Sean and Mike as well as the dramatic fluctuation from sweet moments of intimacy, steamy passion, humor, and testosterone driven toughness. Written with a slightly ironic undertone, Rawlyns draws readers into the world of Bad Boyfriends, continuing the general storyline introduced in Curling Iron, while focusing primarily on telling Mike and Sean’s story.~~Carly, Carlys Book Reviews
