Rantalicious Tuesday

resetI went off on my Face Book page but decided my blood pressure isn’t coming down yet so here’s to sharing the wealth.

RANT ON:

shill>>I’m sick of shilling my work. It sucks every creative instinct clean away.

download (1)>>I’m sick of people asking when my work will be free. I have a website, I write something new almost every single day, for free.

Like, you know… HERE. Look around, lots of free stuff, including chapters for *gasp* real books.

6a00e54fcf73858834017ee9c3070d970d>>You want to read my work but can’t afford to buy a book? PM, email, comment. I’ll give you one. Just stop pirating my work and assuming it’s OK, that everything on the internet *should* be free. If that’s so then *you* should pay my mortgage and go to the grocery store for me. Here, I’ll give you a list. I’m sure you can pick everything up… for free.

Wait, what… No? *facepalm*

oEKiurzzuCtigWf-556x313-noPad>>Ditto Amazon returns. It’s not that they don’t like the work, because they read book 1, return, pick up book 2, return, rinse & repeat.

I can track it. That’s stealing.

leo>>If you require trigger warnings, my books aren’t for you. I say it up front, in the product description.

If you need more, read the Inside the Cover option.

About Nya Rawlyns

Crossing boundaries, taking no prisoners. Write what’s in your soul. It’s the bass beat, the heartbeat, the lyrics rude and true. Nya Rawlyns is the pseudonym of a writer who cut her teeth on sports-themed romantic comedy and historical romances before finding her true calling in the wilderness areas she has visited but calls “home” in that place that counts the most: the heart. She has lived in the country and on a sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay, earned more than 1000 miles in competitive trail and endurance racing, taught Political Science to unwilling freshmen, and found an avocation in materials science. When she isn’t tending to her garden or the horses, the cats, or two pervert parakeets, she can be found day dreaming and listening to the voices in her head.
